The hotel is centrally located in the old city within walking distance of Lausanne's main attractions, train station, and metro services. The rooms, although small and basic, were very quiet, old-fashioned but cool. The service was friendly and helpful. The dining offered a variety of Swiss fare with a beautiful view. The location is super central but may require caution with the shower. Facilities were satisfactory with an excellent view from the hotel's restaurant almost at the rooftop.
The hotel has a charming terrace offering lovely views of the nearby cathedral but needs some decoration and feels a bit small. The service is exceptional with staff always ready to help. The location is very convenient, being close to the Metro and right on Riponne Square, near shops, bars, and restaurants. The dining experience is enjoyable, featuring delicious cheese and cured meat. However, the safety at night may be a concern.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms had an excellent view over Lausanne toward the mountains and were clean, comfortable, and great value for what I paid. The service was top-notch, with helpful and friendly staff who were always ready to assist. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of Lausanne within walking distance of all the main attractions. The dining experience was nice, although limited breakfast options could be improved. Overall, a great value for money hotel with fantastic amenities.
My stay at this hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good aspects. The rooms, although basic and not as stylish as in the pictures, did offer a fantastic terrace with lovely views of the nearby cathedral. The service was pleasant and helpful without any hint of arrogance. The location was superb, close to the heart of Lausanne and within walking distance of great attractions and dining spots. The dining experience was decent but had limited options for breakfast. On the downside, the price did not match the value received, especially when considering the amenities offered.
